The High Court of Orissa allowed the petition of an ex-director of a company, M/s. Rajendra Paper Mills Ltd., stating he has no liability to submit company's statement of affairs, books, and records due to company's non-functioning and non-existence. The company did not commence business, no meetings were held, and no statutory returns were filed. The petitioner was relieved from submitting the required documents after a period of about twenty-three years since the winding-up order.
