The Appellate Tribunal CESTAT, New Delhi granted stay on recovery of MODVAT credit disallowed to M/s. Ajanta Tubes Ltd. during the pendency of the appeal regarding the classification of pipes used for drawing water from tubewell as capital goods. The issue will be heard on 31-3-2005.
