The Appellate Tribunal CEGAT, Mumbai found that appeals filed by the Commissionerate were not in compliance with rules as the authorizations were not signed. The Tribunal dismissed the appeals and directed copies of the finding to be sent to the Chief Commissioner of Central Excise, Vadodara. Stay applications were also dismissed.
