If such affidavit is not fled by the FSSAI, we shall be constrained to pass further appropriate orders and there shall be no other alternative. Stand over to 10th August 2023 at 10.30 a.m. High on Board .
Issues Involved:
The issues involved in the judgment are related to the adjournment of proceedings for the FSSAI to provide a clarificatory affidavit as directed by the court. Summary: The High Court of Bombay, in the case, adjourned the proceedings to allow the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) to submit a clarificatory affidavit as per the court's previous order. The court expressed dissatisfaction with the delay in submitting the affidavit despite clear instructions given in the earlier order. The court granted one more day for the FSSAI to file the affidavit, emphasizing that failure to do so would result in further appropriate orders. The next hearing was scheduled for 10th August 2023 at 10:30 a.m. "High on Board." This judgment highlights the importance of timely compliance with court orders and the consequences of failing to adhere to judicial directives. The court's decision to grant an additional day for the submission of the affidavit underscores the principle of procedural fairness in legal proceedings. The case underscores the significance of fulfilling legal obligations promptly to ensure the smooth functioning of the judicial process.
