INSTRUCTION NO. 855/CBDT Dated : July 19, 1975 Reference is invited to Board's Instructions No. 567 F.No. 236/Genl/73-A PAC dated 7-7-1973, (printed below) prescribing the proforma report to be sent by the Commissioners of Income-tax to the Board in respect of draft paras proposed by the C AG of India for inclusion in the Audit Report. On further consideration, the form has been revised and the reports on Draft Audit Paras for C AGA Report 1974-75 may please be sent in the attached revised proforma. 2. The Board desire that Commissioners of Income-tax should send proforma report after carefully verifying the facts contained therein with utmost expedition as the Board has to intimate to the C AG its acceptance or otherwise of the Audit objection within 6 weeks of its receipt in Board's office. The importance of the proforma report need not be over-emphasised as it forms the basis of all correspondence with the C AG/PAC.
