OFFICE OF THE JOINT DIRECTOR GENERAL OF FOREIGN TRADE BLOCK A, 5TH FLOOR, KENDRIYA BHAVAN, KAKKANAD, KOCHI 682037 TRADE NOTICE No.6 DATED 15.03.2012 Attention of all the members of trade and industry is invited to Public Notice No.84 dtd.11.11.11 , wherein it is informed that complete PAN details, Telephone numbers, Email ID and mobile number (of the signatory of the ANF 2A) is made mandatory. To reduce transaction cost and time, it has been decided to communicate with trade through Email. In future all deficiency letters, if any, will be communicated via Email only. In view of the decision stated above, all the exporters having IEC numbers may kindly update e-mail ID so that all communications/correspondence can be made directly avoiding delay and at the same time reducing transaction cost. It is also advised that requests of all kinds submitted at the counter/by post like updation of IEC, issue of authorization, redemption, amendments etc. must compulsorily mention their email ID for correspondence. The trade may please note and comply accordingly to avoid delay in processing their case. This trade notice is issued for information facilitation of the trade.
