VIII/DBK/ACE/PN/728/11 DATED: 20/01/2015 PUBLIC NOTICE NO. 01/2015 Subject: Regarding Claims pending for want of reply for Exporters to the Customs Quarry raised in EDI system regarding. In continuation to Public Notice No.13/2014, issued vide even C.No 4890 to 4922 dated 18.12.2014 it is stated as follows:- A larger number of claims are pending undisbursed for want of replies from exporters to the 'Query raised in EDI system w.r.t. relevant shipping bill These claims are technically not pending with the Department but are shown pending with exporters for reply as per Rule 13(3) of the Drawback Rules, 1995 . The exporters are required to file reply through EDI System. The DBK claims can be processed online through EDI only after the reply is filed by exporters. 2. With the implementation of ICES 1.5 at Air Cargo Complex (Exports), New Delhi, the exporters can get the status of their drawback Shipping Bills from ICEGATE website i.e. www.icegate.gov.in. Exporters are required to click at 'Tracking at ICES' and then at 'Tracking at ICES 1.5'to see the status of their pending drawback Shipping Bills. The exporters are required to obtain a printout of the query from the Computer Maintenance Centre (CMC), Air Cargo Complex, IGI Airport, Delhi and approach tie Drawback Section satisfying to proper officer in Drawback Section, the exporters Will get clear their queries following the reply submission in the system through CMC with relevant papers who will clear the query for getting the same fed in the system by the CMC. The shipping bill then comes into the queue for online processing the Drawback Claim. 3 The list of 'Queries pending1with exporters is also uploaded on the website of the Customs Air Cargo (Ex ort), Delhi www.delhicustoms.gov.in and the exporters are requested to get the queries removed by filing reply in EDI system and submitting requisite documents immediately to enable this office to process the Drawback claims. In case 'Query' cases, it may be; ensured that the replies to queries are complete in all respect. Where the claim is older than 06-12 months proof of realization of foreign remittances for export sales proceeds is also required. Exporters are required to submit BRC/Proof of realization of foreign remittances for export sales proceeds for earlier shipments in case the same has not already been submitted. 4 In case of any difficulty, the Exporters may contact Shri R.K.
