As a measure to facilitate the travelling international passengers, Export Certificates for high valued personal property of the passengers are being issued to the respective passengers departing India, if they intend to bring those items back to India, at the Customs Counters in Departure Hall of the Anna International Airport, Chennai. To further simplify the procedure and to reduce the time taken in issue of such Certificates, the format of Export Certificate has been made available on the Chennai Air Commissionerate Website www.aircustomschennai.gov.in under a separate link Online Export Certificate . The passengers desiring to avail the facility may go through the instructions furnished in the above said link. The passengers may download the format, fill in the particulars regarding their Passport and the items for which the Export Certificate s required, take the printout of the filled in particulars in duplicate and submit to the Customs Officer at the Departure Hall of the Anna International Airport.
