Documents required for SVB registration - Customs - 29/2012

OFFICE OF THE COMMISSIONER OF CUSTOMS (IMPORT) JAWAHARLAL NEHRU CUSTOMS HOUSE, NHAVA SHEVA TAL:URAN, DIST : RAIGAD, MAHARASHTRA FACILITY NOTICE No. 29/2012 F.NO.S/22-GEN- 227/2012 AM (I) Dated:-17.04.2012 Sub: Documents required for SVB registration- Attention of importers, CHAs and other members of trade is invited to the Board s Circular No. 11/2001 dated 23.02.2001 (F.No.467/32/2000-Cus.V), wherein the detailed procedure related to the registration and finalization of SVB cases is mentioned. It has been reported that a large number of cases are pending for registration of SVB cases for want of some critical documents. In most of the cases, the deficiency memo have been issued, however the importers are not coming forward to submit the required documents. With a view to obviate avoidable delays with reference to registration of the SVB cases, the importers are hereby informed that, the following critical documents required for SVB registration:- - IEC Certificate - PAN Card - Brief about relationship between buyer and seller - Articles of Memorandum - GATT declaration - SVB Bond (in case of other Custom House, copy of the same) - B/E, Invoice When the importers submit their proposals, for the purpose of SVB registration, to the concerned Appraising Group of the Custom House/formation, they may ensure that the above said documents are compulsorily submitted.
