No. S-49/01/2015 EDI Dated: 12.06.2017 PUBLIC NOTICE: 14/2017 Sub: Implementation of Document and File Management System (DFMS) at New Custom House, Mangaluru - Reg Attention of the Customs Brokers, Steamer Agents and all other Stake Holders is invited to this office Public Notice No.12/2015 dated 06.07.2015 on the above subject. 2. With reference to para 4 of the Public Notice as per the existing practice, in case of Shipping Bills, Customs Brokers are required to attach the CUSTOM COPY of the coupon in the SB document set (docket) while handing over the same to the Steamer Agents after Let Export Order (LEO). The Steamer Agent is then required to consolidate all the SB dockets collected from Customs Brokers vessel-wise and hand over the same to the officers of the EGM section at the time of filing of EGM. 3. It has been reported that there is some delay in scanning of the Shipping Bill dockets. Therefore, the issue has been re-examined and it has been decided in consultation with Trade that with effect from 19.06.2017, like in the case of BE document set (docket), Customs Brokers are required to attach the CUSTOM COPY of the coupon in the SB document set (docket) and hand over the same to the officers of the Docks section at the time of Let Export Order (LEO). 4. Accordingly, the para 4 of the Public Notice No.12/2015 dated 06.07.2015 stands modified to that extent and all other procedures prescribed in the said Public Notice remain the same. SD/- (Dr. M.
