Exporters, Custom House Agents and all others concerned are hereby informed that the Central Board of Excise and Customs, New Delhi has decided to observe the months of May 2012 and June 2012 as DRAWBACK CLEARANCE MONTHS, and also directed to form a Special Drawback Cell in each Customs formation to take necessary action to liquidate all old drawback claims immediately. 2. The Nodal Officer nominated for this purpose will supervise the Special Drawback Cell and the Assistant Nodal Officer nominated for this purpose will assist the Nodal Officer in observance of the clearance made by the Special Drawback Cell set up for observance of Drawback Clearance Months. 3. Accordingly, this Commissionerate has constituted the Special Drawback Cell vide Officer Order No.59/2012DBK dated 11.4.2012 to attend to all the pending drawback claims and to liquidate the pendency. Shri. DR. M. G. TAMlZHVALAVAN, Additional Commissioner of Customs (Drawback) (whose particulars are given below) is nominated as the Nodal Officer to supervise the work of Special Drawback Cell and Shri. R. BHAVANI ARUNODHAYAM, Deputy Commissioner of Customs (Drawback) (whose particulars are given below) is nominated as the Assistant Nodal Officer to assist the Nodal Officer for the work of Special Drawback Cell.
