S/12-Gen-41/2012-13/DBK/JNCH(X) Dated: 01.05.2012 PUBLIC NOTICE NO. 34/2012 Subject: Constitution of Special Drawback cell to clear the pendency of the drawback claims observance of May and June, 2012 as Drawback Clearance Months -reg. As per instructions received from the Board, it has been decided to launch a drive to clear drawback pendency. The months of May and June 2012 shall be observed as Drawback clearance months. 2. For this purpose a Special Drawback Cell headed by a Senior Nodal Officer has been setup, as advised by the Special Secretary and Chairman, CBEC, Ministry of Finance vide letter D O F No 609/49/2012-DBK dated 23rd April 2012. 3. The Deputy Commissioner, in charge of the Drawback Section, Shri D P Singh, having office at C-401, Jawaharlal Nehru Custom House, Nhava Sheva [Phone 022- 2424 4713], is hereby appointed as the Nodal Officer from the Customs side for the aforesaid purpose 4. The Special Drawback Cell headed by the Nodal Officers shall Co-ordinate with Trade and all export related sections to speed up the processing the Drawback claims and clear pendency thereof.
