No. VIII(12)Import/Tech./P.N./06/2020 Date: 27.03.2020 PUBLIC NOTICE NO. 20/2020 Sub:- Request for Amendments and/or Waiver of Late Fee Charges in the Bills of Entry through e-mail procedure as facilitation during outbreak of COVID-19- reg Attention of all importers, exporters, Customs Brokers and all other stakeholders is invited to the above cited subject. 2. To minimize the physical human contact during this period , it is decided that the request for amendments and/or waiver of late fee in a bill of entry can also be made by sending e-mail to specified official email IDs as follows- Sr. No. Group E-mail ID 1. Gr. I II [email protected] 2. Gr. III IV VI [email protected] 3. Gr. V malay.sameer nic.in 4. Gr.VA [email protected] 5. Gr. VB [email protected] 3. The above email IDs are of Deputy/Asstt. Commissioner of the respective Appraisal Groups. In case they are temporarily working from home, they will immediately convey to the DC/AC on the roster in office. The concerned officers will act upon the request received through such email and keep the printouts thereof as record in the respective group. 4. A copy of the email request shall be endorsed by the trade to Sh. Nagendra Yadav, ADC on email id [email protected] for request pertaining to Gr.5A and Sh. Debjit Banerjee, JC on email [email protected] for request pertaining to Gr.l, Il, 111,1V, V, VB VI who shall monitor the disposal of such requests. 5. All trade associations/members of Customs Brokers Association are requested to take note and publicize the contents of this Public Notice among their members/constituents. 6. For the departmental officers, this may be treated as Standing Order. 7. Difficulties, if any, may be brought to the notice of Additional Commissioner of Customs (Technical), ACC Import, New Customs House, New Delhi.
