The attention of the Importers, Exporters, General Trade, Customs brokers, CFSs, ICDs and all other stakeholders is invited to CBIC Instruction No. 02/2020 dated 20.02.2020 on the above subject. Attention is also invited to the emerging scenario and lockdown due to the outbreak of the nCovid-19 virus in the country and its related precautions being enforced by the Karnataka State Government to break the chain through social distancing. 2. As directed by the Ministry, a duty roster is issued to all the officers working in Mangalore Customs to handle Import and Export clearances on working days. In addition to this, to handle urgent shipments of lifesaving equipment and other essentials, if any, beyond regular hours, Mangalore customs has decided to earmark officers who can be reached out to ensure quick clearance of critical cargo and mitigate any difficulty that may be faced by the trade. 3.
