Issuance of H, G and Self category customs pass/card under regulation 13 of the CBLR 2018 —reg. - Customs - AMENDEMENT TO PUBLIC NOTICE NO.31/2023Extract OFFICE OF THE PRINCIPAL COMMISSIONER OF CUSTOMS (GENERAL) CUSTOMS BROKER SECTION, NEW CUSTOM HOUSE, BALLARD ESTATE, MUMBAI I F. No. Gen/CB/PN/1/2020 Date : 30-10-2023 AMENDEMENT TO PUBLIC NOTICE NO.31/2023 Subject : Issuance of H, G and Self category customs pass/card under regulation 13 of the CBLR 2018 reg. Reference is invited to Public Notice No. 31/2023 dated 04.09.2023. As a trade facilitation measures following amendments in the said PN are hereby issued: - 1. In the said Public Notice for (i) Issuance of Fresh H/G/self-card and (ii) For Transfer of H/G/self-card, it is made mandatory to submit documents in respect of volume of Business/work during last four financial year. As a trade facilitation measure it has been decided to do away with such requirement and accordingly point No. h and i of para (I) and para (IX) respectively of the PUBLIC NOTICE No. 31/2023 stands deleted. 2. In order to reduce timelines for disposal of application it has been decided that the para XIII of the said PN shall reads as: - On receipt of the application in CBLMS, if any deficiency is found, a deficiency memo will be issued within 10 working days of receipt of application, else, the card will be issued within 15 working days of receipt of the application or satisfactory reply of deficiency memo, whichever is later. However, in case of transfer of H and G category pass, the card will be issued within 45 days of application or 15 days of satisfactory reply of deficiency memo, whichever is later. 3. Post implementation of Customs Broker License Management system (CBLMS), there appears no need to submit application physically in the section for the issuance of pass or to collect passes physically. Accordingly, the para No. XVI XVIII stands deleted. 4. This issues with the approval of the Principal Chief commissioner of Customs, Mumbai Zone-I.
