Granite manufacturing units - Formal registration need not be insisted till 1-6-2002 F. No. B-10/1/2002-TRU Dated 13-3-2002 Government of India Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) Central Board of Excise Customs, New Delhi Kindly refer to Ministry's letter of even number dated the 11th March, 2002, relating to the facility to allow the granite manufacturing units to pay the excise duty on clearances made during the months of March, April and May, 2002, by 15th of June, 2002 and to file a single RT 12 Return in respect of such clearances by 10th of June, 2002. In this context, it has also been decided that the formal registration of such granite manufacturing units need not be insisted upon till 1st June, 2002. SERVICE TAX TRADE NOTICE
