INSTRUCTION NO. 1042/CBDT Dated : February 25, 1977 A suggestion has been made by some of the Commissioners of Income-tax that minutes of the meetings of the Regional Direct Taxes Advisory Committees attached to their charge may be circulated to various trade associations, Chambers of commerce, etc., in their charge. 2. The minutes of the meetings are intended for the information and use of the Members of the Committee, and not for general circulation. The Board, therefore, do not favour this suggestion. The Board have, however, no objection if certain important decisions taken by the Commissioners of Income-tax as a result of the deliberations in the meetings of the Committee are communicated to the local Chambers of Commerce, etc.
