INSRUCTION NO. 1064/CBDT Dated : June 16, 1977 Section(s) Referred: 69D Statute: Income - Tax Act, 1961 Attention is invited to Board's Circular No.221 dated the 6th June, 1977 clarifying the provisions of Section 69D of the Income-tax Act, 1961. 2. The circular deals with Darshani hundi transactions falling, within the categories (i),(ii) and (iii) if para 4 of the said Circular. The Income-tax Officers may be informed that if they come across any Darshani hundi transactions which do not fall within the aforesaid three categories, they should refer them to the Commissioners who should bring them to the Board's notice so that suitable instructions may be issued.
