Activities or Transactions by public authorities shall be treated neither as a supply of goods nor supply of service - 527/2017 - Uttarakhand SGST

Government of Uttarakhand Finance Section 8 Notification No. 527/2017/9(120)/XXVII(8)/2017 Dehradun Dated 29/06/2017 WHEREAS, the State Government is satisfied that it is expedient so to do in public interest; Now, THEREFORE, In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 7 of the Uttarakhand Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 (06 of 2017) , the Governor, in the continuation of the recommendations of the Council is pleased to allow to notify that the following activities or transactions undertaken by the Central Government or State Government or any local authority in which they are engaged as public authority, shall be treated neither as a supply of goods nor a supply of service, namely: - Services by way of any activity in relation to a function entrusted to a Panchayat under article 243G of the Constitution . 2.
