GOVERNMENT OF ASSAM ORDERS BY THE GOVERNOR FINANCE (TAXATION) DEPARTMENT NOTIFICATION No. 10 The 3 rd May, 2018 No. FTX.56/2017/231 .- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (l) of section 11 of the Assam Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 (Assam Act No. XXVIII of 2017), the Governor of Assam, on being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, on the recommendations of the Council, hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of Assam, in the Finance (Taxation) Department, No.FTX.56/2017/21 (NotificationNo.8/2017) dated the 29 th June, 2017, published in the Assam Gazette, Extraordinary, vide No.342 dated the 29 th June, 2017, and amended vide notification No. FTX.56/2017/208 (NotificationNo.38/2017), dated the 1 St December, 2017, published in the Assam Gazette, Extraordinary, vide number 710 dated the 1 st December, 2017, namely:- In the said notification, for the figures, letters and words 31 ST of March, 2018 , the figures, letters and words 30 th day of June, 2018 shall be substituted.
