To amend notification No-12017- State Tax (Rate) dated 30-06-2017 so as to notify rate of GST on supply of lottery - 1/2020-State Tax (Rate) - Gujarat SGST

GOVERNMENT OF GUJARAT NOTIFICATION FINANCE DEPARTMENT Sachivalaya, Gandhinagar Dated the 24th February, 2020 Notification No.1/2020-State Tax (Rate) No.(GHN-13)GST-2020/S.9(1)(31) -TH:-In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 9 and sub-section (5) of section 15 of the Gujarat Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 (Guj.25 of 2017), the Government of Gujarat, on the recommendations of the Council, hereby makes the following further amendments in the Government Notification, Finance Department No.(GHN-31)GST2017/S.9(1)(1)-TH dated the 30th June, 2017, Notification No.1/2017- State Tax (Rate) namely:- In the said notification, - (a) in Schedule II - 6%, S. No. 242 and the entries relating thereto shall be omitted; (b) in Schedule IV - 14%, for S. No. 228 and the entries relating thereto, the following S. No. and the entries shall be substituted, namely: - 228. Any chapter Lottery . 2. This notification shall come into force on the 1st day of March, 2020.
