Delegation of power to Commissioner of CT & GST, Odisha under OGST Act - 23270-FIN-CT1-TAX-0005/2019 - Orissa SGST

GOVERNMENT OF ODISHA FINANCE DEPARTMENT Notification The 19 th September, 2022 S.R.O. No . - Whereas, Shri Sushil Kumar Lohani, IAS was appointed as the Commissioner of State Tax vide the notification of the Government of Odisha in the Finance Department No.33462-FIN-CT1-TAX-0005-2019, dated the 30th September, 2019 under section 3 of the Odisha Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 (Odisha Act 7 of 2017); And whereas, Shri Sanjay Kumar Singh, IAS is appointed as Commissioner of Commercial Taxes GST vice Shri Sushil Kumar Lohani, IAS vide the Office Order of the Government of Odisha in the GA PG Department No. 24184/AIS-I, dated the 26th August, 2022; Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Odisha Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 (Odisha Act 7 of 2017), the State Government do hereby appoint Shri Sanjay Kumar Singh, IAS, Commissioner of Commercial Taxes GST, Odisha to be the Commissioner of State tax, Odisha for the purpose of the said Act with effect from the date he assumes charge as such and he shall exercise such powers and discharge such functions as are or may be conferred or imposed by or under the provisions of the said Act.
