In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendment in the Notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 208/83-Central Excises, dated the 1st August, 1983, namely :-

In the Table annexed to the said notification, against S. No. 2, in column (2), for the word and figures "and 7210.10", the figures and word "7210.10, 7215.00 and 7309.00" shall be substituted.
