Exemption to mica of all varieties excluding scraps and waste Notification No. 129/87-Cus. Dated 13-3-1987 In exercise of the power conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), and in supersession of the notification of the Government of India in the Department of Revenue and Banking No. 329/76-Customs, dated the 2nd August, 1976, the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby exempts mica of all varieties but excluding mica scraps and wastes, falling under heading No. 8 of the Second Schedule to the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975), when exported out of India, from the whole of the duty of customs leviable thereon which is specified in the said Second Schedule.
