Exchange rate Notification No. 127/87-Cus. Dated 10-3-1987 In pursuance of sub-section (2) of Section 20 of the Indian Stamp Act 1899 (2 of 1899) and sub-clause (i) of clause (a) of sub-section (3) of Section 14 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendment in the Notification of the Government of India, Ministry of Finance Department of Revenue No. 512-Cus. [S.O. 963 (E)], dated 29th December, 1986, namely :- In the Schedule below the said Notification for Serial No. 14 and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be substituted, namely :- (1) (2) (3) 14. Pound Sterling 4.8495 This rate will be effective from 13-3-87.
