Amendment to three notifications Notification No. 95/87-Cus. Dated 1-3-1987 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby directs that each of the notifications of the Govern ment of India, in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) specified in column (2) of the Table hereto annexed, shall be amended or further amended, as the case may be, in the manner specified in the corresponding entry in column (3) of the said Table. THE TABLE Sl. No. Notification No. and date Amendment (1) (2) (3) 1. 125/86-Customs, dated the 17th February, 1986. In said notification, - (a) after the word and figures "Chapter 84", the word and figures "or 39" shall be inserted; (b) in the Table, after Sl. No. 35 and the entry relating thereto, the following Sl. Nos. and entries shall be inserted, namely :- (1) (2) "36 Vacuum concentration machinery for manufacture of concentrated fruit juices and pulp. 37 Asceptic packaging material and bags." 2. 160/86-Customs, dated the 1st March, 1986. In the said notification, - (a) after the words "packing of marine products", the words "for export" shall be inserted; (b) for the figures and words "40 per cent ad valorem , the following figures and words shall be substituted, namely,- "40 per cent ad valorem : Provided that the importer furnishes an undertaking to the effect that the said imported goods shall be used for the purpose specified above."; (c) in the Table, after Sl. No. 4 and the entry relating thereto, the following Sl. Nos. and entries shall be inserted, namely :- (1) (2) "5. Automatic chip ice making machine. 6. Plate freezer. 7. Individual Quick Freezing machine. 3. 390/86-Customs, dated the 29th July, 1986. In the said notification, for the Table, the following Table shall be substituted, namely :- THE TABLE S. No. Description 1. Coffee Huller or Peeler-cum-Polisher. 2. Coffee Grader. 3. Vibro Grader or Gravity separator for coffee. 4. Mono-chromatic or bi-chromatic electronic colour sorting machine for coffee. 5. UV sorting machine for coffee. 6. Electronic moisture meter for coffee. 7. Mechanical Drier for coffee. 8. Coffee roaster and grinder for coffee curing machinery."
