Raw rubber and synthetic rubber Notification No. 233/86-Cus. Dated 2-4-1986 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, No. 82/86-Customs, dated the 17th February, 1986, namely :— In the said notification, — (i) for the words and figures "factice derived from oils and goods other than styrene butadiene rubber, falling under heading Nos. 40.03 and 40.04" the words and figures "factice derived from oils, reclaimed rubber, waste and scrap of unhardened rubber, falling within Chapter 40" shall be substituted; (ii) after the opening paragraph, the following paragraph shall be inserted, namely :— "1A. Nothing contained in this notification shall apply to styrene butadiene rubber and oil extended styrene butadiene rubber".
