Optical, photographic, medical surgical goods etc. Notification No. 232/86-Cus. Dated 2-4-1986 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue No. 69/86-Customs, dated the 17th February, 1986, namely : - In the Table to the said notification,— (i) against Sl. No. 3, (a) in column (2), the figures "9026.90" shall be omitted ; (b) for the entry in column (4), the entry "60% ad valorem " shall be substituted ; (ii) after Sl. No. 6 and entries relating thereto, the following Sl. No. and entries shall be inserted, namely :— (1) (2) (3) (4) "6A 9026.90 All parts and accessories other than parts and accessories containing thermionic valves or transistors or similar semi-conductor devices or light emitting diodes or electronic micro-circuits. 40% ad valorem .
