Scientific /technical instruments, etc. imported by non-commercial research institutions Notification No. 227/86-Cus. Dated 27-3-1986 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, No. 70/81-Customs, dated the 26-3-1981, namely :— In paragraph 2 of the said notification, for the figures, letters and words "31st day of March, 1986", the figures, letters and words "31st day of March, 1987" shall be substituted.
