Appoints the Joint Commissioner of Customs (Imort), Jawaharlal Nehru Custom House, Nhava Sheva, Raigad, Maharashtra [To be published in the Gazette of India , Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii)] Government of India Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) Notification No. 153/2009-Customs (N.T.) New Delhi , dated the 9th October, 2009 . 17 Asvina, 1931 Saka. S.O. 2579(E). - In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 and subsection (1) of section 5 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962) , the Central Board of Excise and Customs hereby appoints the Joint Commissioner of Customs (Imort), Jawaharlal Nehru Custom House, Nhava Sheva, Raigad, Maharashtra to act as a common adjudicating authority to exercise the powers and discharge the duties conferred or imposed on,- (i) the Joint Commissioner of Customs (Import), Air Cargo Complex, Sahar, Andheri (E), Mumbai; and (ii) the Joint Commissioner of Customs, Custom House, Navrangpura, Ahmedabad for the purpose of adjudicating the matters relating to Show Cause Notice pertaining to M/s. Sarjan, 22 Nalanda Complex, Premchand Nagar Road, Near Mansi Tower, Vastrapur, Naranpura, Ahmedabad and anothers issued vide, F.No. DRI/AZU/INV-08/2009, dated the 4th August, 2009, by the Additional Director, Directorate of Revenue Intelligence, Ahmedabad Zonal Unit, Ahmedabad.
