Foreign Travel Tax: Exemption to the leaders, etc., of delegations attending Conference of Science and Technology Agencies of Developing Countries. Notification Number: 365(E) Dated 30-04-1982 In exercise of the powers conferred by section 36 of the Finance Act, 1979 (21 of 1979), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary and expedient so to do, hereby exempts the leaders of delegations, their spouses and delegates (including officials) from the Developing Countries and the foreign media representatives, coming to attend the conference of the Science and Technology Agencies of the Developing Countries, to be held in New Delhi from the 3rd May, 1982, to 6th May, 1982, from payment of foreign travel tax leviable under sub-section (1) of section 35 of the said Act, in respect of their international journey to any place outside India at the close of the conference. 2.
