To set up a sector specific Special Economic Zone for Information Technology and Information Technology Enabled Services sector at Hinjewadi, Taluka-Mulshi, District Pune, MINISTRY OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY (Department of Commerce) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, 15th May, 2008 S.O 1153(E).— Whereas M/s. Base Realty Private Ltd. in the State of Maharashtra, has proposed and Section 3 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005), (hereinafter referred to as the Act) to set up a sector specific Special Economic Zone for Information Technology and Information Technology Enabled Services sector at Hinjewadi, Taluka-Mulshi, District Pune, in the State of Maharashtra; And whereas, the Central Government is satisfied that requirements under sub-section (8) of Section 3 of the said Act, and other related requirements are fulfilled and it has granted letter of approval under sub-section (10) of Section 3 of the Act for development and operation of the. sector specific Special Economic Zone for Information Technology and Information Technology Enabled Services sector at the said Hinjewadi, Taluka-Mulshi, District Pune, in the State of Maharashtra on 30th July, 2007; Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 4 of the Special Economic Zones Act and in pursuance of rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006, the Central Government hereby notifies the following area at Hinjewadi, Taluka- Mulshi, District Pune, in the State of Maharashtra, comprising of the Survery numbers and the area given in the Table below, as a Special Economic Zone, namely:— TABLE S.No. Survey No. Area (in Hectares) 1. 234/1 017.70 2. 234/2 0.17.70 3. 234/3 0.15.040 4. 234/4 0.17.70 5. 234/6 025.80 6 234/7 025.80 7. 235/6 1.11.16 8. 235/7 1.50 9. 235/8 1.49 10. 235/9 1.49 11. 245/1 1.37.00 12. 245/2 1.33.30 13. 245/3 1.06.75 Total 10.56.15 [F. 1/21/2007-SEZ] ANIL MUKIM, Jt Secy.
