Appoints Common Adjudicator for the purpose of adjudicating the matters relating to show cause notice pertaining to M/s Agarvanshi Aluminium Limited [TO BE PUBLISHED IN THE GAZETTE OF INDIA , EXTRAORDINARY, PART II, SECTION 3, SUB-SECTION (ii)] GOVERNMENT OF INDIA MINISTRY OF FINANCE (DEPARTMENT OF REVENUE) Notification No. 89 / 2008-Customs (N.T.) (E). - In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 and sub-section (1) of section 5 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962) , the Central Board of Excise and Customs hereby appoints the Commissioner of Customs (Import), Jawaharlal Nehru Custom House, Nhava Sheva, Raigad, Maharashtra to act as a common adjudicating authority to exercise the powers and discharge the duties conferred or imposed on:- (i) the Commissioner of Customs and Central Excise, Nagpur; (ii) the Commissioner of Customs and Central Excise, Hyderabad-II; (iii) the Commissioner of Customs, Customs House, Kandla; and (iv) the Commissioner of Customs (Port-Import), Chennai for the purpose of adjudicating the matters relating to show cause notice pertaining to M/s Agarvanshi Aluminium Limited, 'Agravanshi House, 1-8-32/59, Bapu Bagh, Minister Road, Secunderabad, Andhra Pradesh issued vide, F.No. DRI/AZU/INV-6/2006, dated the 31 st December, 2007, by the Additional Director General, Directorate General of Revenue Intelligence, Zonal Unit, Ahmedabad.
