May 30, 2019 and Press Release dated May 31, 2019, the Sovereign Gold Bond Scheme 2019-20 (Series I) will be opened for subscription for the period July 08-12, 2019. The Issue Price of the Bond during this subscription period shall be ₹ 3,443 (Rupees Three Thousand Four Hundred Forty Three only) – per gram with Settlement date July 16,2019,

The Government of India in consultation with the Reserve Bank of India has decided to allow discount of ₹ 50 (Rupees Fifty only) per gram from the issue price to those investors who apply online and the payment is made through Digital Mode. For such investors the issue price of Gold Bond will be ₹ 3,393 (Rupees Three Thousand Three Hundred Ninety Three only) per gram of gold.
