sales return in delhi vat, VAT + CST

sir,  kindly advice if somebody purchased goods from me 2 years back and wants to return the same goods in the same condition.what will be the vat credit.can i treat the vat as in my input and the person who is returning the goods treat it like his output vat as he is also a registered dealer.    harjeet singh
