DUTY LIABILITY OF SSI UNITS, Central Excise

DEAR SIR,

AS PER THIS BUDGET, SMALL SCALE UNITS (SSI) UNIT HAVE TO PAY EXCISE DUTY ON MONTHLY BASIS OR QUARTERLY BASIS. I ALSO REFERRED NOTI. NO.19/2014 CE(NT) DTD. 11.07.14 BUT YET NOT CLEAR.

It is same i.e. on quarterly basis. No changes in the Budget on this aspect.

Well, you were referring to Noti. No. 19/2004 (N.T.). This notification is not applicable in your case. Duty by SSI to be paid on quarterly basis only.
