Excise Annual Returns, Central Excise

Dear Experts,

In recent budget there is changes in no. of returns in Excise, 12 monthly and one annual return to be filed. Now for Apr'2016 Excise Annul return ER5 & ER7 to be filed?

New type of annual return to be filed when?

No need to file ER-5 & ER-7. Annual return will cover all the relevant information. It is to be filed by 30.11.2016 for the year 2015-16.

I agree with the views as submitted by Sri Kasturi Sir. The doubt is now cleared. The provision is not so easy to interpret and understand. One need to break his head to extract the essence of the amendments, to know the intention behind the change. But Sri Kasturi Sir does it in a very passionate way. I get encouragement and inspiration from his work. Thanks a lot Sir.
