Doshi (unauthorized person) for the purpose of examination of goods by DRI in respect of export consignments of M/s. Darshan International. This consignment was meant for export, where the goods were declared as ladies garment accessories fancy dupattas made of man made filament yarn and the value declared thereof was found highly overvalued in order to claim undue draw back benefits. The export consignment of M/s. Darshan International was entered for exportation under shipping bills No. 5429178 and 5429220 both dated 18-7-2007 by Shri Vikas D. Ltd. even though Shri Doshi was not having proper authorization from M/s. Shree Venkatesh Shipping Agency. Shree Venkatesh Shipping Agency had filed the documents without having any authorization from Darshan International, the exporters. It was further noticed that Shree Venkatesh Shipping Agency was taking up clearance jobs from unknown persons for a monetary consideration and also handling work of custom clearance by persons who were not their employees and had not taken adequate precautions while doing the clearance work for such unknown persons and had knowingly conspired in the export to cheat the Government ..... Darshan International and without obtaining any IEC copy from exporter which he is under obligation to do. Further it turns out that Shri Doshi who was authorized to file document on behalf of Darshan International to export consignment was having his own clearing business in the name of Interport Logistics Pvt. Ltd. which was not used by him and instead he used licence of M/s. Shree Venkatesh Shipping Pvt. Ltd. This shows gross negligence on the part of M/s. Shree Venkatesh Shipping Pvt.
