The appellant has further stated that only a fee of Rs. 2.00 as prescribed under the RTI (Regulations of Fee and Cost Rules, 2005) should be charged by PIO. The appellant has taken several other grounds in his appeal challenging the demand of additional cost of Rs. 6,83,340/- as un-reasonable and un-realistic, the basis of which has not been provided to the appellant. He has also cited several decisions in support of his claim that only Rs. 2.00 per page of documents is chargeable and no searching fee is leviable.
