1968 (8) TMI 175 - HC - VAT and Sales Tax

The High Court of Madras allowed a writ petition regarding a delay in filing an appeal before the Appellate Assistant Commissioner for Commercial Taxes. The court found that there was a sufficient cause for the delay, and directed the Commissioner to entertain and dispose of the appeal according to law. (Case citation: 1968 (8) TMI 175 - MADRAS HIGH COURT)
