Issues involved: Condonation of delay, Admission of appeal, Stay application
Condonation of delay: The application for condonation of delay of six days was considered by the court. After hearing both counsels, it was found that sufficient cause existed for condonation of delay. The application was allowed, and the case was disposed of. Admission of appeal: The court admitted the appeal and issued notice to the respondent. Since the respondent's counsel accepted the notice, no further notice was required. The appeal was scheduled for hearing in January 2011, to be listed among the first ten cases at the top of the Board. Stay application: An application for stay was presented, and after hearing both parties, the court directed that no coercive steps should be taken against the petitioner. The application was disposed of with this direction, and it was mentioned that if the appellant sought an adjournment, the stay order would be vacated.
