2011 (4) TMI 1401 - HC - VAT and Sales Tax
The Karnataka High Court quashed the order imposing sales tax under Sec. 39(1) of the Karnataka Value Added Tax, 2003, stating that the activity involved is a service and not liable for VAT. The decision was based on a previous case and related petitions were disposed of. Misc W 3992/2011 filed in WP 11508/2011 does not survive for considerations.
