2018 (7) TMI 2315 - HC - Indian LawsAmount payable to the petitioner - Despite the Court's order with respect to the payment to the petitioner, no further action was taken - respondent Advocate submits that the decision quantifying the amount payable to the petitioner has since been taken and would be communicated to the petitioner within two days - HELD THAT - The amounts determined shall also be credited to the petitioner accordingly within a week. It is stated that the petitioner has preferred a contempt proceedings for noncompliance of the Court‟s order. The present order will not in any way prejudice the rights of the parties in those proceedings. Application stands disposed of accordingly.
The Delhi High Court issued an order in response to a grievance from the applicant/ respondent regarding noncompliance with a previous payment order. The respondent's counsel assured that the amount payable to the petitioner has been quantified and will be communicated within two days, with payment to be made within a week. The petitioner had initiated contempt proceedings for noncompliance, and the current order does not affect those proceedings. The court disposed of the application accordingly.
