2023 (12) TMI 751 - SCH - Money Laundering

Issues involved: Custody of the petitioner by the Directorate of Enforcement, bail conditions, setting aside impugned order.

Custody of the petitioner: The Supreme Court, comprising Hon'ble Mr. Justice Aniruddha Bose and Hon'ble Ms. Justice Bela M. Trivedi, heard the counsel for both parties. Mr. Raju, learned Additional Solicitor General for the respondent, informed the Court that the custody of the petitioner would not be required by the Directorate of Enforcement. Consequently, the Court disposed of the petition with a direction that if the petitioner is arrested in connection with E.C.I.R. No. RPZO/09/2022 / CC No. 5956 of 2023, she shall be released on bail as per the terms deemed fit and proper by the Special Judge, thereby setting aside the impugned order. Any pending application(s) were also disposed of in light of this decision.
