The Supreme Court upheld the judgment of the High Court of Telangana dated 10 December 2020. The grant of a personal hearing is not mandatory as per the conclusions in paragraph 81 of the judgment. The Solicitor General suggested that the judgment should have prospective effect, and advised the State Bank of India to file a separate review. The Miscellaneous Application and pending applications were disposed of.
