Definitions. 02. (1) In these Rules (i) 'Act' means the Companies Act, 1956 (1 of 1956); (ii) 'Annexure' means an Annexure to these Rules; (iii) 'Charge' includes a mortgage; (iv) 'Form' means a Form in Annexure A; (v) 'responsible officer', in relation to a company, means any one of the following: (a) a director of the company; (b) [1] [* * *] manager or secretary of the company; (c) any other officer or employee of the company, who may from time to time be recognised or declared by the Central Government to be a responsible officer of the company within the meaning and for the purposes of these Rules; (vi) 'the seal' means the common seal of the company; and (vii) 'section' means a section of the Companies Act, 1956 (1 of 1956).
