Disposal of Records (in the Offices of the Registrars of Companies) [Notification No. GSR 324(E), dated 9-4-2003] In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Destruction of Records Act, 1917 (5 of 1917), and in supersession of the Disposal of Records (in the Offices of the Registrars of Companies) Rules, 1984, except as respect things done or omitted to be done, before such supersession, the Central Government hereby makes the following rules, namely: 01. Short title and commencement. (1) These rules may be called the Disposal of Records (in the Offices of the Registrars of Companies) Rules, 2003. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
