Definitions 2. In these rules, unless the context otherwise requires- ( a ) 'Act' means the Companies Act, 1956; 1 [ (aa) corresponding new bank means the corresponding new bank as defined in clause (d) of section 2 of the Banking Companies (Acquisition and Transfer of Undertakings) Act,1970 (5 of 1970) and clause (b) of section 2 of the Banking Companies (Acquisition and Transfer of Undertakings) Act, 1980 (40 of 1980); ] ( b ) 'eForm' means eform specified in the rules; ( c ) Financial year means the financial year as defined under Subsection (17) of Section 2 of the Companies Act, 1956; ( d ) Words and expressions used in these rules and not defined herein but defined in the Act shall have the meaning as assigned to them in the Act; *********** NOTES:- 1.
