Rule 1 - Short title and commencement. - Companies (Inspection, Investigation and Inquiry) Rules, 2014

[To be Published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-Section (i)] Government of India Ministry of Corporate Affairs NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the ________ 2014 G.S.R.(E).-- In exercise of the powers conferred under sub-section (2) of section 211 , sub-section (5) of section 211 , section 214 , sub-section (3) of section 210 , and sub-section(11) of section 217 , read with sub-sections (1) and (2) of section 469 of the Companies Act, 2013 (18 of 2013) and in supersession of the Companies (Central Government s) General Rules and Forms, 1956 or any other relevant rules prescribed under the Companies Act, 1956 (1 of 1956) on matters covered under these rules, except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such supersession, the Central Government hereby makes the following rules, namely: - 1. Short title and commencement.- (1) These rules may be called the Companies (Inspection, Investigation and Inquiry) Rules, 2014. (2) They shall come into force on the 1st day of April, 2014.
