Rule 1 - Short title and commencement - India-ASEAN Trade in Goods Agreement (Safeguard Measures) Rules, 2016

Government of India Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) (Central Board of Excise and Customs) Notification No. 37/2016 - Customs (N. T.) New Delhi, the 4th March, 2016 G.S.R.______(E). In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 5 of the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975) read with sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules, namely:- 1. Short title and commencement. (1) These rules may be called the India-ASEAN Trade in Goods Agreement (Safeguard Measures) Rules, 2016. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
